We're seeking developers who perform at their best under pressure and who have a BS in Computer Science and at least two years of on-the-job experience (or equivalent) in development and design of Web based applications that use PHP and MySQL on UNIX (BSD or Mac OS X preferred, but Solaris, HP-UX, Tru64, AIX or Linux acceptable).

Hands on experience with server-based Web applications including implementation of content management systems is essential. In depth understanding of PHP, MySQL, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript and 508 compliance required. Familiarity with social networking applications, Web Content Managements Systems like TYPO3, ecommerce applications like ZenCart and implementation of multimedia will be a plus.

If selected, you'll help develop/maintain customer Web sites that are built in TYPO3 and/or include custom Web applications primarily written in PHP with a MySQL backend. Current work includes new application and extension development, maintenance and updates to existing applications and customer Web sites, and analysis and recommending improvements to previously written applications.

Sales Executives

We are looking for a professional outside sales executive to sell B2B Web site design and development, online marketing campaigns (SEO/M) and custom Web applications in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. The target clients are nonprofit organizations, local governments, schools and tourism organizations.

You will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for generating leads by calling existing customers, referrals, networking events,trade shows and cold calling as necessary.  A key part of the position is closing the sale and then insuring that the clients have a positive experience in transitioning to their new Web site or services we provide.  The company has high standards for customer service so you will work in a collaborative environment with team members who are professional and experienced in their areas of expertise to take care of the customer.

Total compensation package includes:

  • A base salary of $35K plus commission on new sales.
  • Total earnings for the right individual are in excess of $100K.
  • Cell phone, mileage, entertainment expenses as required, and laptop may be provided.
  • Training required the first 30 days at the headquarters in Columbia, MD.
  • Expectation that you will work remotely after training.
